Questions to consider

• Do you confess Christ Jesus as your LORD and Savior? Further, are you ready to commit your life to God, and then to the service of God?
• Do you sense that God is urging you to join?
• Are you willing to commit your life to becoming a Disciple of Christ Jesus, not just a member of the church?
• Are you prepared to give your time, gifts, and tithes (as best you can) toward the building of God's ministries?

What must I do?

To join as an individual or a family, decide which Sunday you want to come forth. At the preacher's invitation, step out on faith. Don't be concerned whether others are coming, you are making a personal commitment, and this choice is between you and God.

Categories By Which You Join

Profession of Faith and Baptism:
This is when you come forth to profess your faith in Christ Jesus and you have never been baptized.

Transfer of Membership:
You have previously been on a church roll. You may or may not have been baptized, but you desire to change your membership.

Reaffirmation:
This is when you have been inactive at Adams Chapel and you have determined to renew your commitment.

Recommitment:
You have been unchurched for a period of time, and you are prepared to re-commit your life to Christ and His church.
