Summer Speaker Series

The summer speaker series will kick off this Sunday, August 10th. The speaker for the 10:00 am Sunday worship service will be Rev. Shirley Gould of Robinson AME Church in Grasonville, MD.

The summer speaker series continues on Sunday, August 17th with the preaching of Rev. Patrick Hipkins, Senior Pastor of Davis Memorial Church (Baltimore).

Knock! Knock! The Class Leaders are Knocking at Your Door

The Class Leaders of Adams Chapel ask your support for their Door Knob Fundraiser, "Answering the Knock at Your Door". They ask all families and friends of Adams Chapel to participate simply by counting all the doorknobs in your home
and donate 0.25 per doorknob to the church.

Checks should be made payable to ADAMS CHAPEL AME CHURCH. Put "Doorknob Fundraiser"
in the memo section. Return your donation by Sept. 7, 2008 - and keep the doorknob!

The Food Pantry is looking for a few good volunteers!

If you can spare 2 hours a month to assist Adams Chapel in giving out food to our neighbors in need, then click here!

The Food Pantry is open from 11am to 1pm on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. Volunteers are needed to help stock the shelves, prepare the bags and distribute them. If you know a young person in middle or high school, this is also an excellent way for them to earn community service hours needed for graduation.
